 The Beautiful of Merak Temple The Beautiful of Merak Temple - Location: Candi Merak Vilage, on.Klaten locale The peacock sanctuary was found around 1925. The giving of this name may have been the area of this sanctuary where there was a peacock's home. As indicated by past history, the land was just unfilled land where there was a huge tree which around then was known as the Joho Tree. About Gunung Sari Temple

One of the temples that became the target of blusukan in early 2009 was a temple which according to the story is not far from Mount Wukir Temple. The location of the temple at that time was quite difficult for me to find, it's different now that there is a nameplate for this temple on the side of the road. Actually this temple is very easy to reach from the jogja-magelang highway but because at that time the minimal information made the trip full of stray events and questions here and there. Location: Dsn. Gunung Sari, Ds.Gulon, Kec. Salam, Kab. Magelang. Routes: From Magelang or from Jogja after arriving at digulon, to be exact, after the white time, from hopefully you will see the nameplate of the Gunung Sari temple on the side of the road. A little forward from the nameplate is a T-junction. Turn to the T-junction. After about 2 km you will find a T-junction. Turn and follow the road and you have entered the hamlet of Gunung Sari.
